Summer recess, no meetings in July or August.  Next meeting is Wednesday 10th September

Do you sing along to your radio when you’re on your own? Maybe in the car or in the kitchen, just for the pleasure of it? If you do, then this is the group for you. We aren’t a choir, but we do all sing together and it really doesn’t matter whether or not you can sing in tune. As the name suggests it’s all about the enjoyment of music and especially the pleasure we get from singing. We sing along to our favourite songs mainly, but not exclusively, 60s and 70s pop music. The words are on screen so there’s no need to memorize them and the backing track volume is turned up so that any wrong words or off-pitch notes are craftily disguised. We meet once a month at 2.30 p.m. on the 2nd Wednesday at Carleton Memorial Hall where you can be sure of a warm welcome and lots of chat.
