Group Leader - Christine Holt

The aim of the group is to improve our ability to speak, read and understand spoken French. We work from a variety of texts which we listen to, read and translate. We have opportunities to speak in French about our chosen topics. We include plays, songs, grammar activities and practice conversations. The group is friendly and informal. We are, in the main, by no means fluent. The members of the group have studied French at school but many years ago.

We welcome new members. Our group is for people who have studied French before but need to brush up their skills. This group is a little more advanced than the Refreshers but not as advanced as the conversation group. We encourage people to try the different groups to see which is best for them.
