Group Leader - Graham Bannister

The Play Reading Group now meet on the third Tuesday of each month.

The plays which are read are selected by members, who as a group pay occasional visits to the County Library at Lockstock Hall to create a list of plays to be read in the forthcoming period. The plays selected cover a wide spectrum of interest and authors. In the last 12 months plays by such well known authors as Joe Orton, Agatha Christie, Alan Ayckbourn, J.B. Priestley and Tom Stoppard were read. 
As the makeup of the cast of each play differs, it is necessary to be flexible in the allocation of roles, often requiring sharing or changing character to give all members the opportunity to read.
